Prouduct Support Engineer - entry level
The Product Support Engineer (PSE) serves as a member of the team that provides engineering support to Manufacturing / Depot, Program Management, Engineering, Reliability and Quality. The PSE is the primary sustaining engineering lead for products in production and those transitioning to full production.
Assists in electrical troubleshooting of failed circuit cards during manufacturing
Technical continuous process improvement
Failure Analysis/Investigation support for reliability and failure analysis
Maintain product troubleshooting and technical guidelines
Recommend Engineering Change Notices for product/process improvement
Supports design modifications for existing products, frequently driven by component obsolescence situations. The design modification is usually of moderate complexity and may require minor card level redesign or component testing to absorb the necessary hardware changes.
Begins to understands/utilizes internal L3Harris processes and tools for electrical design/documentation.
Responsible for performing job duties in a manner consistent with established L3Harris Ethics Standards.
Responsible for working in a manner consistent with established safety rules and regulations and the use and maintenance of required personal protective equipment (example: safety glasses).
Develops solutions to routine technical problems of limited scope.
Contacts are primarily with immediate supervisor, project leaders, and other professionals.
