The Harris Systems Integration & Testing Intern Program offers students the opportunity to experience a temporary internship in a dynamic and growing government contracting company. The purpose of the program is to allow students to explore the Systems Integration & Testing department and actively work tasks designing, developing, testing, debugging and releasing code. A key goal of this program is to expose students to the wealth of opportunities that exist within an international software organization and to the career possibilities that lay ahead should they pursue a career in Electrical Engineering & Systems Integration.
This is a temporary position with flexible hours for eight to twelve weeks. The Intern will be assigned to the PuriFile software team where specific supervised and unsupervised tasks will be completed which benefit the business and the Student’s learning. Ideally, this will provide the intern with intellectually challenging tasks.
Duties may include the following:
Engineering: Product development and testing, Tool Research, Problem Solving
Pursuit of Bachelors degree or higher, in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science
GPA of 3.0 or greater required. Most positions require a security clearance, or the ability to obtain one.
Security clearances may only be granted to U.S. citizens. In addition, applicants who accept a conditional offer of employment may be subject to government security investigation(s) and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
