Administers, extends, negotiates and terminates standard and nonstandard contracts. Completes administrative duties such as compiling reports.  Conducts proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications. Examines estimates of material, equipment services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness. Prepares bids; processes specifications, progress, and other reports; advises management of contractual rights and obligations; compiles and analyzes data; and maintains historical information.
You will demonstrate success by:
  • Preparing contractual portions (letter, T's & C's, Reps & Certs) of proposals to the U.S. Government and other DoD Contractors 
  • Providing audit and fact-finding support for major proposals
  • Administering and closing contracts
  • Compiling information and reports
  • Interpreting contract requirements and track contractual performance to the requirements
  • Assist in proposing and negotiating contracts for the company�s products and services in prime and subcontracting environments.
  • Ensuring compliance with federal procurement regulatory requirements and providing the primary customer interface on related issues.
  • Assisting procurement personnel with significant contracting tasks, including establishing flow-down terms and conditions. 
  • Providing contractual guidance to program personnel and management 
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors of Science degree in Business, Finance, or related field required. Masters preferred.
  • Must possess ability to obtain and maintain clearance, which requires U.S. Citizenship
  • At least 3 Years of relevant experience dealing with Contract or Pricing
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize appropriately
  • Strong communication (verbal and written), organization, negotiation skills,  and management skills
  • Excellent computer skills including MS office applications (strong Excel and Word skills).
  • Ability in reading, interpreting, and negotiating contracts and statements of work
  • Self-motivating and able to manage multiple contracts with little assistance from others.
  • Excellent people skills to include collaborating in a multi-disciplinary, diverse, and dynamic team environment.
